3Published and prize-winning poet, Norman Leer, has written this book based on his experience and impressions of Danish midsummer light nights. The poems also explore his connections as an American to Danish history and his wife's Danish family. The experience of the light becomes a metaphor for how beauty beyond time and impermanence are both parts of the human condition. The book is illustrated by his wife and exhibited artist, Grethe Brix-J. Leer.
